The North American Racing League presents a GT3 only league featuring 50 minute races and multiple ways to win.

Race Format

Unless otherwise specified, the following settings will be used for each race.

Classes: Pro (PRO) and Amateur (AM) – based on iRating & performance

Cars: GT3 (Audi R8 LMS, BMW M4 GT3 Prototype, Ferrari 488 Evo GT3, Ford GT GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Mercedes AMG GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R) 

Note: You may choose a different car for each race.

Car Settings: 50% fuel capacity, Fixed Setup (iRacing Medium Downforce Sprint)

Weather: Morning, Dynamic Weather, Track Usage at 60% (Carries Over), Marble cleaning

Practice
1 hour open practice
Qualifying
10 minutes closed qualifying, best of 3 laps
Race
50 minutes (unless otherwise specified), pit stop required, 1 fast repair, 15 incidents (every 5 after)

Scoring Points

Points are awarded to each driver’s overall position, regardless of class. 

First place is awarded 50 points. Second place is awarded 48 points and each subsequent place is awarded one less point. The Top Qualifier and anyone with a 0x receives an additional 2 points.

Each driver’s lowest scoring race is dropped before final points calculations.

Team Points are calculated on the best 2 points positions. If any penalties are received, they will be included in the team’s overall score.

Ties are decided by the drop race.

You must finish 50% of the race distance to be eligible for points.

Championship Prize List

The following cash prizes are awarded after the final race in the championship.

Gentleman’s Cup: $100 (Awarded to the driver with the lowest number of incidents. 25x awarded for DNS/DNF/DSQ)

Code Of Conduct

Below are the basic rules and guidelines for competing in the North American Racing League. All members must follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the iRacing Sporting Code. This league will uphold rules supported in this document. Rules are subject to change.

General Conduct

  • Bad conduct from league members will be unacceptable.
  • No derogatory statements, name calling, insults, inappropriate language, racism, harassment, or any other actions that would be considered not appropriate.
  • Drivers Chat is NOT allowed while qualifying or racing. 

Driving Standards

Stewards will be reviewing any protest made by other drivers during any league session.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for intentional wrecking. Intentional Wrecking is automatic removal from championship and League completely.

Minor Incidents

  • Light contact (contacted car did not lose position)
  • Unsafe Rejoin (not contacting another car)
  • Unavoidable Contact (another car loses control)

Major Incidents

  • Contact (causing another car to lose position)
  • Contact (causing major damage to another car)
  • Contact (causing another car to be towed)
  • Unsafe Rejoin (contacting another car)

Penalties

Minor Incidents:  Steward Options

  1. Warning
  2. Point Deduction
  3. Pit Lane start on next race

Major Incidents: Steward Options

  1. Warning plus Point Deduction
  2. Warning plus Pit Lane Start
  3. Removed from league championship.

Protests

Protests must be summitted within 48 hours of race start time.

NOTE: It’s your responsibility to save replay in case one is not on file

Any protest upheld that involves a Major Incident will invalidate cash award for that session and the next racer down will be allocated your placement and so on.

Payouts will be sent by PayPal once race has been cleared by stewards.
